Drywall & metal stud estimating services
Measured against the partition schedule, so board layers, stud gauge, insulation and finish level are priced per wall type rather than averaged.
What a drywall & metal stud package looks like.
Drywall estimates that price one rate per square foot of wall cannot survive a partition schedule. A single-layer non-rated partition and a two-hour double-layer shaft wall of identical area differ by more than double, and the schedule is where that lives.
Every partition type is measured separately by length and height, then resolved into framing, board area by layer, insulation, tape and finish level. Ceilings, soffits, bulkheads and control joints are measured on their own because they carry different labour again.

Common questions on drywall & metal stud takeoffs.
Yes. Each wall type in the schedule is measured and priced separately, because framing gauge, board layers, insulation and rating drive most of the cost and they vary wall by wall.
Yes, both gypsum and suspended acoustic ceilings, with grid, tile, soffits and bulkheads measured separately from wall areas.
As its own line. Level 4 and level 5 finish carry materially different labour, and areas requiring level 5 are measured separately rather than blended into the wall rate.
